Wine Spectator magazine quotes him frequently as a true ‘insider.’ Christophe is a native Frenchman and true wine insider with multi-generational experience amongst the top vignerons of Burgundy and the Rhone Valley. Christophe speaks four languages fluently. In the last decade, Christophe has gained unique expertise working with countless Sommeliers at the most prestigious restaurants on every continent.

Christophe is now available for luxury tours to guide Porthos Connoisseurs seeking access to rare, private winery experiences. He will share his passions with avid collectors visiting Burgundy and the Rhône Valley, where he has not only first-hand, lifelong experience but also an unparalleled network ensuring privileged access. Each itinerary will be customized according to each client’s top priorities and include rare access to private experiences at world famous wineries.

Booking Your Tour

Two-day packages start at $5000 for groups of 2-4 guests includes:

• $1000 store credit to purchase your favorite Burgundy discoveries (upon return to the U.S.). Following your tour, your Porthos Wine Concierge will notify you which bottlings are available and then secure favorites for your cellar.

• All tour/tasting fees at 2-3 Winery experiences each day (flexible for your preferences).

• A true insider experience sampling 1er Cru and Grand Cru Burgundy with producers that aren’t typically open to the public.

• All of the logistics for your tour/tasting itinerary.

• Transportation in a Mercedes sedan (or your rental car, if preferred)

• A personal host and driver who, thanks to his decades of experience in Burgundy and Rhone, guarantees a memorable time full of learning and fine wine.

Important Logistics – Please Read

• A minimum 90-day advance booking is recommended since availability is limited to one group per week.

• Tasting appointments will be available Monday through Friday. Weekend availability is not common practice in Burgundy.

• The ideal tour timing is November through July for priority access to rare Domaines. Due to harvest, tasting requests for August and September are not advised.
