DOMAINE DES LAMBRAYS
Morey-Saint-Denis
Visit and private tasting

The very first reference to Clos des Lambrays traces back to the fourteenth century. Archives of the Abbey of Cîteaux reveal its founding around 1365. An engraved milestone, still in its original location, commemorates the founding. In 2014, the property, identified as one of the jewels of Bourgogne, was acquired by the LVMH Group.

In the words of passionate and talented manager Jacques Devauges: “Rediscovering the essence and emotion found in the mythical bottles of Clos des Lambrays from the early 1900s, which still impress today after so many decades. Such is the vision of the whole team, and the inspiration driving our daily efforts in the vineyard and the cellar”

We will enjoy an invigorating stroll up the limestone paths along the walls of the Clos des Lambrays and neighboring Clos de Tart. Up at the top of the hill, an iconic arched stone gate leads way to 202 “ouvrées”, or rows of vines. On a clear day, the Alps and the Mont-Blanc cut a sharp silhouette in the background.

Contemplate the undulations of the nearby rolling hills, covered by vines growing from a topsoil composed of limestone and rich, red clay. The very essence of Burgundy, and a perfect introduction to the subtleties of “terroir”!

DOMAINE TRAPET
Gevrey-Chambertin
Private Tasting and Lunch at Maison T, the historic family home.

“In praise of gentleness”

For nearly two centuries, passionate and attentive winemakers have signed Gevrey-Chambertin wines under the Trapet name.

This signature and passion have been passed down through generations, turning this noble craft into an object of sharing and expression.

. Our lunch will be paired with unique iconic cuvées including their three Chambertin Grands Crus at optimal maturity: Chambertin, Chapelle-Chambertin and Latricières-Chambertin.

DOMAINE HENRI GOUGES
Nuits-Saint-Georges) –
Visit and private tasting at this true hidden gem celebrated by connoisseurs.

Mysteriously overlooked in the Grands Crus classification, the Nuits Saint-Georges region boasts a jewel worthy of the greatest: the Saint-Georges climate. In this mid-slope area, with its reddish clay-limestone soils, Pinot Noir reaches phenomenal heights.

A family that oscillates constantly between tradition in one hand, and openness to its era and a vision of future on the other, since 1920.

Located exclusively in Nuits Saint Georges at the heart of the Côte d’Or, the vineyard of the estate encompassing 10 plots, a living mosaic. Among these appellations are 7 Premiers Crus (1 white and 6 red) and a family monopole: the ‘Clos des Porrets Saint Georges’.

In a newly renovated space, we will be treated to the best the Côte de Nuits has to offer. Special, (very) old library vintages can be arranged.

Sampling Montrachet in the caves of Guy Amiot

DOMAINE AMIOT GUY & FILS
Visit and private tasting
Chassagne-Montrachet

The quintessence of the great white wines of Burgundy

Direct neighbor and close friend of Jean-Claude Ramonet, Thierry Amiot runs the family winery with unparalleled (albeit still internationally underrated) talent.

Our unique barrel tasting will be conducted in the and possibly meet granddad Guy himself, has he still leaves directly above the cellar.

Their holdings read like a “who’s who” of the very best sites ever to produce Chardonnay, with no less than ten Premiers Crus including Les Demoiselles (Puligny-Montrachet) or Les Vergers, Les Caillerets, Les Chaumées, Clos Saint-Jean, Les Champgains, La Maltroie, Les Baudines, Les Macherelles (Chassagne-Montrachet) and En Rémilly, the “best kept secret” of Saint-Aubin, a plot directly overlooking Le Montrachet. This Grand Cru, totaling only 19 acres, split between 17 producers (including the Amiot family), is widely recognized to produce the best white wine in the world.

The stony soil, the medium slope and the south-east exposure constitute a unique terroir where the Chardonnay grape variety reveals an unequalled aromatic complexity.

We will be sure to explore the vineyards, taking a walk through all the most iconic sites – with plenty of breathtaking photo ops!

Legendary caves of Chandon de Brailles built by Gustave Eiffel (yes, as in Eiffel Tower)

DOMAINE CHANDON DE BRIAILLES
Private Lunch in the historical gardens
Savigny-les-Beaune

The gardens, historical landmark, were created by no less than André Le Nôtre, designer of the gardens of Chateau de Versailles.

Our host will be Count de Nicolay, 7th generation owner and winemaker of the historic estate. François and his sister Claude vinify the greatest terroirs on and around the Corton hill.

We will tour the cellars where the “modern” part was built by Gustave Eiffel (yes, as in Eiffel Tower) in the late 19th century and the “barrel room” is thousand-year-old Cistercian cellars!

With 8 acres, the magnificent Premier Cru "Ile de Vergelesses" is the largest parcel of the estate. From soil to barrels, every detail is meticulously handled. The estate’s resident horses work all the plots, as François got rid of all the tractors!

"At the pinnacle of the Côte d’Or, his cuvées represent the quintessence of what is produced on the Corton hill and its surroundings. Masterful. Corton Clos du Roi 2022. 100/100." January 2025. And again: “Corton Clos du Roi 2023. 100/100.” March 2025. Source: La Revue du Vin de France, the leading French wine publication – since 1927!

We will complete our day with a breathtaking hike up the panoramic Corton Hill, the historic home of Corton and Corton-Charlemagne Grands Crus. More photo opportunities!
